Methylammonium Bromide (MABr; MAB; CAS 6876-37-5) is a common precursor used in the preparation of perovskite-based opto-electronic systems including perovskite solar cells (Wang et al., 2022) and perovskite Light-Emitting Diodes (Lai et al., 2020). Methylammonium Bromide is used to form methylammonium lead tribromide (MAPbBr3) perovskites as well as mixed cation and mixed halide perovskites (Günzler et al., 2021). MAB was added to the precursor solution of an organic–inorganic metal halide perovskite for gas sensor applications to detect NO2 gas (Duong et al., 2022).
With a purity level > 99.99%, lowest moisture content and batch-to-batch reproducibility, Borun New Material - ChemBorun' Methylammonium Bromide is ultra-pure for consistent results and superior performance. MABr is a free flowing powder, snow white in appearance. Borun New Material - ChemBorun can provide g to kg quantities.
