n-Butylammonium iodide


  • n-butylammonium iodide (BAI; CAS Number 36945-08-1) is a popular salt precursor in the preparation of two-dimensional hybrid perovskites. n-butylammonium cations as organic Spacers act as moisture barriers increasing the stability of perovskite solar cells (Rolston et al., 2018). The addition of n-butylammonium iodide to the precursor solution also improved the device performance, shelf stability and operational stability of perovskite light-emitting diodes (Xiao et al., 2017).
