4-Trifluoromethyl-Benzylammonium iodide

  • 4-(trifluoromethyl)benzylammonium iodide (TFMBAI) is used as a precursor in the preparation of perovskite-based optoelectronic systems. The addition of 4-(trifluoromethyl)benzylammonium iodide as an amphiphilic modifier for interfacial defect mitigation led to stable perovskite solar cells with an efficiency approaching 24% (Zhu et al., 2021).
