By 2030, 100000 training sessions will be conducted for partner countries.
For a long time, China's photovoltaic industry has always been in a leading position globally. According to CPIA data, as of the end of 2022, China's global market share of silicon materials, silicon wafers, battery cells, and components has reached 86.95%, 97.90%, 86.69%, and 80.80%, respectively.
In order to give full play to the green manufacturing advantages of China's photovoltaic enterprises and promote the energy transformation of Saudi Arabia, the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and regions along the "the Belt and Road", China's photovoltaic enterprises have deeply implemented the "the Belt and Road" initiative. During the third "the Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum, more than 10 photovoltaic enterprises signed cooperation agreements with countries along the "the Belt and Road".

Background of the meeting
XBC (Back Contact Battery Technology) is a platform type battery structure with no metal electrodes blocking the front of the battery, maximizing the utilization of incident light, reducing optical losses, and thereby improving power generation efficiency. As a universal platform technology, XBC can be combined with technologies such as PERC, TOPCon, and HJT to form various technological routes such as HPBC, TBC, and HBC, continuously absorbing the process advantages and technological progress achievements of other routes, and continuously improving competitiveness.
The XBC type battery has advantages in scenarios such as household use and industrial and commercial rooftops due to the absence of barrier lines on the front and the beautiful appearance of its components, particularly meeting the diverse needs of distributed users. Aixu announced that it will launch a double-sided power generation component in 2024, with a double-sided rate of no less than 55%, which will greatly expand the advantage scenarios of ABC components. In the future, XBC type components will also have great potential in the centralized power plant market.
At the same time, the efficiency of XBC batteries and components has great potential. The mass production efficiency of Longji HPBC battery standard version has exceeded 25%; The 2023 semi annual report of Tongwei shows that the highest research and development efficiency of N-type TBC batteries has reached 26.11%; In 2023, the mass production efficiency of Aixu ABC batteries has reached 26.5%; In September 2023, the conversion efficiency of Fujian Jinshi HBC batteries reached 27.42%. In addition, XBC battery technology has also been developed by Jingao, Tianhe, Jingke, Zhonglai, Junda, and others.
The production capacity of XBC batteries and components is rapidly expanding. State Power Investment Yellow River Company has built the first domestically produced 200MW high-efficiency IBC battery module production line. In March 2023, the Longjixi Xianle Ye 29GW HPBC battery project was fully put into operation. The first phase of 6.5GW ABC batteries in Aixu Zhuhai has been put into production, and the company is expected to form a production capacity of 25GW ABC batteries and components by the end of 2023. Asia Chemical Consulting predicts that starting from 2023, XBC's battery and component production capacity will rapidly expand, bringing huge market opportunities to technology, equipment, and material suppliers upstream and downstream of the industry chain.
