Jingquan Zhang et al. from Sichuan University reported on the in-situ characterization of the effect of bromine doping on the phase evolution mechanism of hybrid perovskite films. The author used in situ characterization and density functional analysis methods based on first principles to reveal the role of Br ions in altering crystallization kinetics and phase transition mechanisms.
Based on these results, the author can prepare high-quality perovskite films through precise composition engineering. These results provide basic insights into the crystallization of hybrid perovskite materials and are of great significance for the manufacturing of high-quality perovskite films and high-performance perovskite solar cells.
