Photovoltaic devices based on hybrid perovskite materials have made rapid progress over the past few decades, and the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of single-junction perovskite solar cells (PSCs) has reached a record high of over 26%. In the fabrication of efficient PSCs, perovskite post-processing procedures are crucial for designing high-quality perovskite films; developing efficient and reliable post-processing technology is very important to promote the progress of PSCs.
Chen Runfeng and Guangbao Wu of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications summarized the reform of perovskite film post-processing technology in recent years, and deeply analyzed the main role of post-processing strategies in the design of high-quality perovskite films, which are divided into two categories: thermal annealing (TA) related technologies and TA-free technologies.
The latest research progress of the above two types of post-processing technologies was summarized and discussed, focusing on the optimization of post-processing conditions, the control of perovskite quality, and the improvement of device performance. Finally, the prospects, trends and future challenges of the preparation of perovskite layers and the production of high-efficiency PSCs are prospected.
