Among these strategies, interfacial treatment is the most critical as it can simultaneously passivate perovskite surface defects and act as a barrier to protect most perovskites from the external environment. In recent years, the development of interface molecules and regulatory strategies has made great contributions to the improvement of PSC stability.
Zhu Zonglong of City University of Hong Kong and others elaborated on the factors affecting PSC stability and provided insights into device degradation through advanced technology. Additionally, the researchers discuss pressing topics regarding interface manipulation, including low-dimensional (LD) overlays, interface modifications and reactions, and charge transport layer design. Finally, the researchers elaborated on core issues for the future development of PSC stability.
