An international research team led by Martin Green of the University of New South Wales in Australia published the 63rd edition of " Solar Cell Efficiency Table " in the journal Photovoltaics Advances
The new perovskite devices added to the table are as follows:
1. Northwestern University in the United States achieved 25.2% efficiency on a perovskite solar cell with an area of 1 cm2 .
2. The University of Science and Technology of China, Northwestern University in the United States , and the University of Toronto in Canada respectively achieved 26.1% efficiency in 0.05 cm2 perovskite solar cells.
3. Longi Green Energy’s 1 cm2 area perovskite - silicon tandem solar cell achieved an efficiency of 33.9% .
4. Oxford Photovoltaics in the UK achieved 28.6 % efficiency on a 286 cm2 area of perovskite - silicon tandem solar cells in May .
