Nature Photonics has published a paper on photonic crystal fibers titled "Graphene photonic crystal fibers with strongly tunable light-matter interactions". In the paper, the authors use the Optics Module of COMSOL Multiphysics and the RF Module of MATLAB to process numerical simulations, and the finite element method is used to calculate the effective refractive index of the fundamental guided mode in a photonic crystal fiber.
Nature Communications has published an optical research paper titled "Floquet Chern Optical Insulator". Robust transport for topology protection in optical systems has recently attracted great interest. Most studied topological photonic structures can be understood by studying the eigenvalue problems of Maxwell's equations for static linear systems. Here, we extend the topological phase to dynamically actuated systems and realize Floquet Chern light insulators in nonlinear photonic crystals, paving the way for further exploration of topological phases in actuated optical systems and their optoelectronic applications. In the paper, the author borrowed the optics module of COMSOL to calculate the energy band structure of light.
Nature Communications has published an acoustic research papers of "Hydrophone Experimental Research on Handicated Materials Sound activity". In the paper, the author borrowed Comsol for structure and the model calculation.
COMSOL Multiphysics multiphysics simulation software achieves accurate numerical simulation with efficient computing performance and outstanding multi-field coupling analysis capabilities, and solves many complex multiphysics modeling problems for the engineering and scientific communities. At present, almost all journal articles in various fields such as Nature, Science, JACS, and Angew have added simulation to improve the height of research work.
